This is for you if you've ever watched a “Canadian” show and wondered why it's pretending to be set somewhere else. If you believe there's enough talent, beauty, and story right here to stand on its own. If you want a Canadian show built to go toe to toe with anything America puts out. If you want to be part of the generation that actually did something about it.
Why You'll Want to Watch
FIELD INTEL // CLASSIFIEDWe've been waiting for an action-crime series that actually looks and feels like home.
Not a "Canadian city pretending to be America" situation, but a show that unapologetically showcases real Canadian locations, real Canadian brands, and Canadian cast and crew with international guest stars. With a Canadian creator, production company, and streaming platform.
And on top of it all, a show with characters you can't help but show up for every week, because they're relatable and human and you need to know what happens next.
There is so much beauty and talent right here in our own country. It's about time we built something that belongs to us.
So consider this your official invitation to join the group project: Trickle & Flow.
Are you in, Canada?
▮What Makes Us Unique
Trickle & Flow is a crime dramedy. It’s also something more.
Yes, there will be investigations, action, banter, complicated relationships, and all the things that make a crime dramedy fun to watch.
But we’re also building this show around things people are actually living through right now. Some of them are personal, some happening in our own community, some changing the world faster than anyone knows how to deal with.

“So many people living with chronic illness feel invisible, ignored, or misunderstood. I know that feeling. For almost a year, I’ve been navigating an illness that still doesn’t have a name, while still trying to show up and build something that matters.
My character, Riley, will carry that too. I wanted to show how much an illness like this can affect someone, the strength it takes to keep showing up, and the struggles that come with it, but without letting it define her or hold her back from living.”

Official London Location Partner
The London Food Bank is an Official London Location Partner for Trickle & Flow. This isn’t just a filming location. It’s an opportunity to shed light on an issue affecting so many that needs more attention.
Almost 1 in 3 households in the London region are experiencing food insecurity right now. Across Canada, food bank visits hit nearly 2.2 million in a single month in 2025, the highest number ever recorded. That’s double what it was just six years ago. One in three of those visits involves a child under 18.
These are our neighbours. Our community.

What happens when AI starts messing with the justice system?
Deepfakes, fake evidence, destroyed reputations, reasonable doubt created out of thin air. These aren’t future problems anymore. They’re already here.
And when the truth gets harder to prove, the people trying to protect it have a much harder job.

Making a scripted drama series is hard. Getting funding for one, especially in Canada, is harder. Doing it independently, at this scale, without network backing is the kind of thing most people are told not to attempt.
But audience-backed entertainment has already proven what is possible. Veronica Mars fans raised $5.7 million and helped bring a cancelled show back without waiting for the traditional studio path. Mystery Science Theater 3000 raised $5.8 million and returned with new episodes. The Chosen built a massive community-funded franchise with no network attached.
Trickle & Flow is our version of that mission: a Canadian action-crime dramedy built outside the usual system, backed by the people who want to see it exist. If we pull this off, it will not just be a win for one show. It will be proof that Canadian scripted television can be built another way, without waiting for the traditional Hollywood system, major broadcasters, or big streamers to decide who gets a chance.

Operation: Trickle & Flow is built on a full ecosystem of funding: Canadian brand sponsorships through paid and in kind products and locations, CGP Spotlight subscription revenue, and community backing.
The mission window is open May 1 to July 31, 2026.
“We're not waiting for permission. We're making this a group project.”
