What is CGP Spotlight?

CGP Spotlight is a people-first home for indie films and series. We share revenue with creators, keep pricing simple, and focus on community instead of algorithms.

What makes CGP Spotlight different than other platforms?

No hidden tiers, no upsells, and a revenue-share model that supports the people who make the work. You can watch on your favorite devices and connect with creators in our Community.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on the currency you select. We offer one affordable Monthly and Annual plan that includes everything. New customers get an intro offer: first 30 days for $1, then your subscription continues at the regular price shown for your selected currency. Card required. Cancel anytime.

How do I access the catalog?

After you sign in, head to Browse All Titles or the main catalogue page. You will see rows, tags, and search for quick navigation.

Can I download videos to my device?

Offline downloads are not available yet, but they will be supported in our dedicated mobile apps coming soon. We are currently focused on stable, high-quality streaming across web and TV apps.

Why am I experiencing buffering or playback issues?

Try these steps: Check your connection speed and switch to a wired or stronger Wi-Fi source. Close background tabs or apps using bandwidth. Refresh the page or sign out and back in. If it continues, contact support with your device and browser details.

Can I create multiple accounts with the same email address?

One account per email. Inside your account you can create multiple profiles, these are designed for kids or household members who just want to watch content. Only your primary profile has community access. Adults who want their own account with community access should use our Family Plan feature (no additional cost already included in your subscription). You can invite up to 8 people, and they'll each get their own separate account with full access. You can set a Community PIN or profile PIN on your primary profile to prevent anyone else from accessing it. TV Convenience: On TV apps, only the main account holder needs to log in. All family member watch profiles (including those from linked Family Plan accounts) will automatically appear in the profile list. Note: Community features are not available on TV.

How do I pause or cancel my subscription?

Open the profile menu and choose Manage Billing. That opens your secure Stripe portal where you can pause, cancel, or change plans anytime.

How do I change my membership plan or update my billing information?

Use Manage Billing in the profile menu. You can switch monthly versus annual, update cards, and view invoices there.

Why is my credit card being declined?

Most declines are bank rules or address mismatches. Try a different card or contact your bank. If it keeps failing, reach out to us and we will take a look.

Do you really mean "No Household Limits"?

Yes. We do not use location-based household lockouts or punish normal family sharing and travel. Our Family Plan includes up to 8 invites per account by default to prevent abuse of the system. Household members can watch no matter where they are, at home or away. If your household has more than 8 people, please contact us.
