General terms for all submissions

  • No guarantee. Submitting does not guarantee acceptance, distribution, referral, financing, qualification, or advancement to due diligence.
  • Limited sharing. We will share your submission only with (a) CGP Spotlight team members who need it to review and (b) the relevant partner if you are applying through a partner intake (for example, Catchlight Capital) for screening.
  • Do not submit sensitive identifiers. Do not include bank account numbers, credit card details, government ID numbers, passwords, or similar sensitive personal or financial identifiers in this form. If you share documents via links, redact those identifiers.
  • You keep ownership. You retain ownership of your materials. You are responsible for securing rights, clearances, and permissions for anything you submit.
  • Links only. If you provide links, you represent you have the right to share them and that recipients can access them. Use proper sharing permissions.
  • Similarity waiver. CGP Spotlight and its partners may independently develop, produce, acquire, or fund projects that are similar in concept, story, characters, titles, themes, or other elements. Similarity alone does not create a claim, liability, or obligation.

Funding partner intake (Catchlight Capital)

  • Screening only. This intake collects essentials for an initial review. It is not a loan offer, commitment, or approval.
  • Permission to share for screening. You authorize CGP Spotlight to review your submission internally and, if appropriate, share it with Catchlight Capital solely for evaluation and screening.
  • Catchlight confidentiality. Catchlight Capital may treat submitted information confidentially subject to legal or regulatory obligations. CGP Spotlight is not agreeing to a confidentiality obligation.

Note: If your project progresses, you may be asked for additional information during due diligence.

Distribution submission (CGP Spotlight)

  • Completed projects only. We currently review completed films and completed series that are ready to deliver.
  • No obligation to license. Submission does not guarantee a distribution agreement, exclusivity, marketing support, or a licensing offer.
  • Deliverables. If we proceed, we will provide deliverable requirements and contracting steps separately.
